Easy Way To Cook Chicken Chaap [Quick Recipe]

Chicken Chaap:

It is a dish which goes soo good with Biriyani or naan.chicken chaap is a easy to make dish with you can make at home easily by following these simple steps. It needs some simple ingredients and your dish will be ready. You can enjoy this with rumali roti also.

For this dish you need big sized chicken leg pieces. For that you have to tell your shopkeeper ti give you chicken pieces for chaap. They will give you the perfect chicken pieces for your perfect dish.

Ingredients –

  • Big sized Chicken pieces (5 for 5 people)
  • Hung curd ( 1 cup)
  • Onion paste (1/2 cup)
  • Ginger paste (2 tablespoon )
  • Garlic paste ( 2 tablespoon )
  • Green chili paste ( 2 tablespoon )
  • Cashew paste (2 tablespoon )
  • Resin / kishmish paste (2 tablespoon )
  • Char magaz paste (2 tablespoon )
  • Red chili powder ( 1 teaspoon )
  • Turmeric powder ( 1 teaspoon )
  • Garam masala powder ( roasted cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, back cardamom, white cumin, white pepper, nutmeg, jawitri )
  • Rose water (2 teaspoon )
  • Mitha atar (2-3 drops)
  • Ghee
  • Salt

Process –

  1. At first we have to take the chicken pieces. Wash them well and prick them well that the marination could get into the chicken.
  2. To make marination we have to take hung curd in a bowl. Then add other masalas. Which are onion paste, ginger paste, garlic and red chili paste.mix them well and make a smooth mixture.
  3. Then add the dried masala which are turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder and 2-3 tablespoon ghee and mix them well.
  4. Now put the chicken pieces in and marinate it and keep it in fridge for 2 hours.
  5. Take a pan and put 3-4 tablespoon ghee in it.add the marinated chicken pieces and the masala in the pan and cover it.
  6. After 10-12 minutes you will see that water is coming out of the chicken.add salt as per taste and Cook it for 5 minutes and cover it again.
  7. When all the water is soaked and the chicken Is tender then make a mixture of cashew paste, resin paste and char magaz paste and add 1/2 cup of water.
  8. Pour the mixture in chicken and cook it till the gravy gets thickened and oil comes out.
  9. Now Its time to finish our dish.for that we have to pour 1-2 teaspoon rose water and 2 drops off mitha atar.at last we have to sprinkle garam masala and mix it well with the chicken.
  10. Your delicious home made chicken chaap is totally ready to serve.the aroma of this dish will make you restless to eat this dish. Take some Biriyani or rumali roti and salad, your meal will be completed. If you want to serve this dish to your guests they will will be super happy and will enjoy a lot.make it and surprise all your family and friends.
