How to make yummy onion pakoda or piyaji: [Quick Recipe]

Onion Pakoda…A crispy snacks to enjoy with your evening tea or coffee.a very easy snacks which you can make in just 30 minutes or takes some a little ingredients which is easily available at any make it and enjoy it with your beloved family and friends…


Ingredients :

  • Sliced onions (500gm)
  • Chopped green chili (4-5)
  • Onion seeds (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Turmeric powder (2-3 teaspoon)
  • Chana daal besan
  • Rice flour
  • Refined oil
  • Salt
  • Water (if needed)

Process :

  1. Take 500 gm onion and chop them finely.
  2. Now take 4-5 green chilies and chop them finely.
  3. Now mix the chopped onion and green chilies.
  4. Put salt as per taste.
  5. Now mix them well.
  6. Now put 2-3 pinch turmeric powder and  1/2 teaspoon onion seeds.
  7. Now mix them well again.
  8. Now put 1/2 cup chana daal besan and 1/4 cup of rice flour.
  9. Mix them well with the mixture of onion till it comes to binding consistency.
  10. Add more flour if needed.
  11. Check the salt and keep it aside for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Now heat refined oil in a pan.
  13. Make small balls of the onion mixture and put them into hot oil.
  14. Deep fry them till golden colour appears.
  15. Onion pakoda is completely ready to eat…serve them hot with tomato sauce…
