Rajma Tikka Recipe|Kidney Beans Tikka Recipe
Hello friends. Hope you’re enjoying my recipes which I’m sharing with you. My last dish was a unique and tangy chutney made by Hilsa fish. I know many of you can’t even imagine that a chutney can be made with a fish. But yes it is possible and if you make and taste this I’m sure you will be surprised with the delicious taste of it.
Now I came with another dish which is tasty and full of nutrition. It Is made up with rajma. A very nutritious been which is rich in iron. Normally we made different types of curry item but I want tell you that we can make this tasty been in many other ways. From them I’m telling you one today. It is rajma tikka.it is so delicious and soft that it will melt in your mouth.you can serve it as a starter with sauce or coriander chutney.
I’m using onion and garlic also.if you want to make it totally veg then you can avoid onion and garlic.so let’s start our new dish…
Ingredients –
- Boiled rajma (250gm)
- Boiled potato (1cup )
- Chopped onion ( 1/2 cup )
- Chopped ginger ( 2 teaspoon )
- Chopped garlic ( 2 teaspoon )
- Chopped green chili ( 2 teaspoon )
- Chopped coriander
- Chopped resin/kishmish
- Chopped cashew nut
- Chana besan (as needed)
- Garam masala powder ( 1 teaspoon )
- Chaat masala powder ( 1 teaspoon )
- Salt
- Ghee
Process –
- For rajma tikka we need 250 gm rajma.we need to soak them in water for at least 6-8 hours.
- That will be better if you soak it overnight. Now boil them till it turns soft.
- Add 1-2 potatoes with the rajma to boil.add some salt in it.Now cool it and take it out in a bowl.
Process –
- At first take the soft boiled rajma in mixing bowl. Mash it finely.
- Now add the boiled potato in and mash it well with the mashed rajma.
- Now put the chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chilies, coriander, salt as taste, garam masala powder and chaat masala in.
- Mix them so well.now in a pan take 1 cup of chana besan and dry roast them.
- Now add the dry roasted chana besan in the mixture and mix it well with the rajma mix.
- If you thik that the mixture need more besan then add some more which will bind them well.
- Now make balls of the mixture. Take a ball.put some chopped cashew and resin in the middle of the ball.
- Now give the balls shape of tikki and let them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
- Now heat 2 tablespoon ghee on a pan.heat it well.now put all the tikka in and shallow fry them in a low heat.
- If you fry them in high heat it will burn.so be carefull.
- Take them out and serve hot rajma tikka with sauce or coriander chutney. It will taste yummy.
