Easy Way To Make Delicious Masala Prawn

Hello friends,today I want to tell you a very easy yet delicious recipe of prawn…masala prawn is a dish which you can cook within 30 mins…It needs some ingredients which is always available in all of your kitchen…so just don’t wait and make this tasty dish by following such easy steps…I’m sure you will be appreciated…This dish can be enjoyed with any type of preparation of rice or steamed rice also…

Ingredients –

  • Prawns (big size)
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped tomatoes (1/2 cup)
  • Ginger paste (2 teaspoon)
  • Garlic paste (2 teaspoon)
  • Green chilies whole (5-6)
  • Hung curd (1/4th cup)
  • Turmeric powder (2 teaspoon)
  • Red chili powder (2 teaspoon)
  • Coriander powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Cumin powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Garam masala powder ( 1/2 teaspoon)
  • Whole red chilies (2-3)
  • Bay leaves (2-3)
  • Cloves (2-4)
  • Cinnamon (2 -3)
  • Cardamom (4-5)
  • Refined oil (2 tablespoon)
  • Ghee (2 tablespoon)
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Water

Process –

  1. At first we have to take 10-15 large sized prawns for 5-6 people.clean them well.
  2. After that put 1/4th teaspoon turmeric powder,1/4th teaspoon salt and,1/4th teaspoon red chili powder on the prawns and marinate it.
  3. Now put 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and heat it well.
  4. Put the marinated prawns in the pan and fry for 4-5 mins.don’t fry them more then 5 mins.it will turn the prawns chewy.
  5. Put them out and in the same pan add 2 tablespoon ghee and heat it.
  6. Now put 2-3 whole red chilies,2-3 bay leaves,whole cardamom,cinnamon and cloves.let them release their oil in ghee.
  7. After that add sliced onion, 1 pinch of salt and 1/2 teaspoon sugar and fry till it turns golden.
  8. Then add ginger and garlic paste and cook until raw smell goes out.
  9. Now add the chopped tomatoes and whole green chilies.fry them till the masala changes it’s colour.
  10. Then add the powdered masalas.which are turmeric powder,red chili powder,cumin powder,coriander powder and fry them well.
  11. Pour 1/4th cup of water otherwise the masala will get burned.
  12. Now put 1/4th cup of hung curd and mix well.
  13. After that put all the fried prawns and mix them with the masala.
  14. Put salt as per taste and 1/2 cup water and cover it.
  15. Cook it for 5 minutes or till the gravy it thick.
  16. Now remove the lid and sprinkle garam masala on it and mix it well.
  17. Masala prawn Is totally ready to serve.enjoy It with rice…..
